Separating The Seas
Separating The Seas was formed in the summer of 2016. Since then, the group has rocketed into the local music scene with a catchy powerhouse sound, and an extremely energetic live performance. In just 6 months of playing together, Separating The Seas managed to win the Oregon Battle of the Bands, and spent their first time on the Warped Tour stage together. Soon after that, the guys packed up their vehicle, and took a 32 hour trip to Nashville, TN to audition for The Extreme Tour. After performing on the main stage in front of many industry professionals such as, Ryan McMahan (financial manager of Slipknot), Noah Henson (Co-Owner of DredRock Music), and the tour managers, Separating The Seas was accepted onto the entire United States tour. Since this was going to be the groups first tour, they decided to only do the West Coast portion of the tour, which traveled through Idaho, Washington, Utah, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Arizona in the span of 10 weeks. In preparation for their tours coming up in 2018, the group dropped their second full-length album, and fourth release overall. "Every Rise, Every Fall" has been The Seas's most successful album release to date. It has allowed many DIY tours to become a reality, such as the "Two is Better than One Tour" alongside Within Sight (Vancouver, WA) which happened in May 2018. The future holds many great things for Separating The Seas. Bigger, better tours, and music that continues to push the boundaries of what metal can do.
